Using RM's wireless CAN interfaces not only the usual positional and directional data  via GPS can be processed and used in advanced HGV telematics systems, but also all the vehicle data available on the CAN bus.

 

External CAN networks, such as an engine with the SAE J1939 protocol, are linked via the CAN gateway, for example, with the vehicle's CANopen network. RM displays in monochrome or color are used as effective cockpit control units to assist the driver.

 

RM's wireless CAN interfaces using Bluetooth or GSM have long been an important, proven development tool in the areas of motor sport and test applications. CAN recorders assist in long-term measurements and in fault-finding.
