Worldwide communication management

The Internet-based server solution Proemion®, which was originally developed by RM and is now provided by RM’s affiliate Proemion GmbH, is an innovative communication technology for flexible networking and smart management of stationary and mobile objects. With the help of this communication management system, an unlimited number of objects around the world can be tracked, monitored, and managed. Communication with Proemion® can take place with the tried and tested wireless interfaces CANlink GSM 2001 and CANlink GSM 2101 which transmit CAN data worldwide via GSM and GPRS.

Simple approach – great effect

For several years, Proemion® has enabled bi-directional communication between objects of all types, e.g. machines or vehicles. Using the CANlink GSM components, operating and vehicle data detected by the CAN bus in these objects is transmitted to Proemion® and then saved there for post processing. The data can be archived securely in its own database and can be accessed by customers at all times via the Proemion® Internet portal, a customer portal, or a customer application. Customer-specific server solutions can be developed to meet specific needs. Moreover, the Proemion® user interface can be structured entirely according to the requirements of the customer.

Universal deployment options

Proemion® can be deployed for various purposes in diverse areas. For example, Proemion® can be used to manage large fleets and monitor them from a central location. Position data can be determined using CANlink GSM 2101 to track the movements of objects. Furthermore, Proemion® can be used to easily configure machines and vehicles and analyze their machine and on-board network data.
